I would be surprised had it been the other way around. <BR/><BR/>I'm not going to write an analysis on the by-election as there are many written already. No point repeating the same thing. But I think the analysis made by A Kadir Jasin on his blog is spot on. It's a clear message to the current administration. And as Tengku Razaleigh observed, the number of votes garnered by BN is lesser than the number of UMNO members in the constituency. So, is that not a clear message to a certain somebody?<BR/><BR/>In any case, "change is the only constant in life" as someone said.
