BIG BRAZA NATION

Are we moving towards a Big Braza nation? And by that, I don't mean the tv reality series, ok?

Recently, Cik Tos got into hot soup with the powers that be, because Cik Tos had managed to amass information purported to be damaging to many of Big Braza's family members and their family's families etc, prominent son-in-law included, I presume. A few weeks back, they've announced that they are coming up with a database similar to Cik Tos, but operated by them. How convenient for Big Braza to have the power and control to 'mekap' the database, you know, 'photoshop' the database so that everything looks nice and good. Meanwhile, only they will know the real information.

They have asked all gomen agencies to consider using SiKeris, which is fine and dandy if you just need current information. When we enquired as to how we can 'apply' to use SiKeris, we were told that not only we'll have to pay a hefty fee of RM4.00 per record, but also that we'd need to reciprocate, surrender all our past, present and future information to them. We are rethinking this requirement very carefully to see it's impact, but so far it seems good only to big braza who's collecting pocket money on other people's records. RM4.00 per record is no ikan bilis, ok.

Now they've gone online and created Cik Hamis, which is a database of all civil servants, and contains minute details such as blood group, personal handphone number etc. Big Braza also wants to know details of your family members, financial situation etc. When and where you will be on vacation. How much money you have? You sure ah, the vacation wasn't sponsored? Soon, you won't be able to take a dump without Big Braza knowing about it *scary mah, scared shitless*. This is so reminiscent of the movie 'Enemy Of The State'. It's a work of fiction, but we never guessed exactly how close it is to the truth!

Meanwhile, at my ofice, there are cameras all over the place, including 2 cameras in each elevator - btw, I'm still wondering who that guy in the Elevator Affair video clip was.

With all this monitoring from Big Braza, who's monitoring the monitor?
